The third quarter of 2023 brought significant shifts in the performance of the top social apps in Ukraine, with data from Sensor Tower offering detailed insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

TikTok experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $380K at the end of September. Weekly downloads for the app fluctuated, reaching a high of around 146K in mid-August. Active users saw a slight decline, starting from about 7.4M in late June and ending at roughly 7.3M by the end of September.

Instagram had a varied revenue stream, with peaks and troughs, hitting a high of about $12K in mid-July. Downloads remained relatively stable, with numbers hovering between 67K and 75K. Active users showed a slight decline from around 6.4M to 6.2M over the quarter.

Facebook showed consistent performance in terms of weekly downloads, staying around the 58K to 63K mark. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $824 in mid-July. The number of active users remained relatively stable, maintaining around 11.5M throughout the quarter.

Threads saw a dramatic drop in weekly downloads from an initial high of approximately 276K in early July to about 28K by the end of September. Active user numbers also fluctuated, peaking at around 334K in late August but dropping to approximately 236K by the end of the quarter.

Likee - Short Video Community experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a peak of about $1.3K at the end of July. Downloads remained fairly consistent, ranging from 35K to 42K. Active users saw some variability, with numbers ranging from approximately 430K to 450K throughout the quarter.
